1. Beads loose:
¢Ù When cutting, the local bending radius of the diamond wire is too small, large bending stress, which cause the beads to separate from the rubber, losing the rubber's ability to fix the beads, and easy to loose the beads. Solution:ensure the bending radius to prevent excessive bending.
¢ÚThe cooling water is not in place or the cooling effect is insufficient, the rubber is overheated and aging, and it loses the ability to fix the beads, and the beads are easy to loosen. Solution: Increase the water supply and ensure that the cooling water can be sprayed to more cutting surfaces.
¢ÛIf the diamond wire is stuck, avoid strong tension and twisting, otherwise the beads will be easily pulled off and loosen. Solution: observe the cutting process. When the cutting noise is too large, check and adjust at any time.
2. Broken rope:
¢Ù The wire breaks from the connection: It is often because the connection and the wire are not compacted tightly, or the connection compaction method is wrong, which causes the wire to detach or break from the joint. Solution: The wire rope connection process needs to be mastered, not careless.
¢ÚBroken rope at non-connection: It is usually beacuse the beads are loosened, the surface of the steel wire is quickly ground under high-speed rotation, and the strength of the steel wire is reduced to cause the rope to break. Solution: After the beads are found to be loose, cut the two beads at the loose place and reconnect them, or squeeze the loose beads so that they do not rotate, which can prevent the wire from breaking.
3. Rubber separation and cracking:
¢Ù Various conditions mentioned in the above "beads loosening" can easily lead to rubber cracking. Solution: Adjust in time according to the problem of loose beads.
¢ÚCheck the rubber wear status of the guide wheel to avoid the diamond wire slipping on the rubber wheel. The diamond wire is overheated due to the lack of cooling protection, and the rubber is easy to come off. The solution is to increase the water supply and always pay attention to whether the rubber wheels are slipping.
4. Partial wear:
¢ÙThe number of twisting loops is not enough, which causes the rope torsion force to be far less than the cutting stress, the diamond wire is difficult to deflect in a circle, and it is easy to produce partial wear. Solution: The number of twisting turns should be adjusted appropriately according to the actual situation and experience.
¢ÚThe diamond wire is fed too fast when cutting, the cutting stress is much greater than the normal torsion force, and the prone to partial wear. Solution: Reduce the cutting speed and observe the cutting status of the wire saw.
5: Cutting speed is too slow
¢Ù The cutting speed is enough, but it just can't cut. It may be that the diamond concentration of the beads is not enough, or too high hardness of the diamond matrix. Solution: Adjust the diamond wire saw bead formula, increase the diamond concentration and improve the diamond grade.
¢Ú The wire speed is too slow, resulting in low cutting efficiency of the wire saw. Solution: The line speed can be appropriately increased to allow more exposure of the diamond, thereby increasing the line speed.
Diamond wire saws also face problems such as short life, stone scratches caused by cutting, and beads flying out during the cutting process.
