Because the diamond processing process is based on the principle of breaking the processed material at high speed, it is suitable for processing hard materials.The reason why diamond can be wrapped in the segment is that during the production process of the segment, through the mixed metal matrix bond, the diamond and metal bond are formed into super-hard diamond segment products under high temperature and pressure. During the use of the segment, the metal matrix and diamond are consumed together, which is ideal situation. Generally speaking, the consumption of the metal matrix is slightly higher than the loss of diamond. Such a diamond segment can not only ensure the sharpness, but also ensure longer life.
Almost all diamond saw blades are composed of these two parts, but because the two parts are combined in different ways, diamond saw blades can be divided into the following types.
1. Sintered diamond saw blade: divided into cold pressing sintering and hot pressing sintering, pressed and sintered. Cold-pressed sintering saw blades are processed in a cold-pressing furnace, while hot-pressing sintering is processed in a middle-making furnace. In terms of the quality of the finished product, the cold-pressed sintered saw blade has a simple process and low price, but the life of the saw blade is short.
2. Welding diamond saw blades: high-frequency welding and laser welding. High-frequency welding uses a high-temperature melting medium to weld the segment and the blade body together. Laser welding uses a high-temperature laser beam to melt the contact edge of the segment and the blade body to form a metallurgical bond. High-frequency welding can weld saw blades with diameters of 300-3500mm, and laser welding saw blades can be used for saw blades with diameters of 105-600mm. Laser welding saves solder, and it is not as efficient as high-frequency welding saw blades in the later use of the steel body. It also increases the cost. However, the advantage of this kind of saw blade is that it can be used for dry cutting, and the segment is very good with connected the blade body. Connection, so the stability is higher.
3. Electroplated diamond saw blade: the diamond powder is attached to the blade body by electroplating.
4. Brazed diamond saw blades, this method is similar to the processing method of electroplated diamond saw blades, but the brazed diamond saw blades must be processed in a vacuum environment, and the saw blades that can be processed are more stable and more efficient.
There are many ways to divide diamond saw blades, but they are inseparable. Through a more scientific, stable, and cost-effective combination method, the base body and the segment are combined to form a whole, which is the finished product of the diamond saw blade.
